Gemini 2 knows its stuff and is very earnest when it comes to duplicate detection, but it can be fun and friendly too. Just have a look at Gemini's ranking system! Cleaning duplicates is like playing a game and leveling up.
How it works
While you do regular things like scanning through your Mac or removing duplicates and similar files, the ranking system assigns you some scores for accomplished tasks. You get a level-up every time a new achievement is unlocked and your rank is growing.
View your rank and achievements
Want to check your progress? Just click the Star button in the upper-right corner of any Gemini 2 screen to view your achievements and set new goals.
To get a tip, click an egg and then go ahead to becoming a Gemini Master.
Disable notifications
If you don't want to get any achievement reminders and in-app cleanup recommendations, turn them off in Gemini's preferences:
- Open Gemini 2.
- Go to the Gemini 2 app menu in the upper-left corner and choose Preferences.
- On the General tab, deselect the "Achievements" checkbox.
