First of all, check whether you entered your number correctly - maybe you’ve accidentally copy-pasted it with spaces or invisible symbols.

If you don’t have a multiple license, you can activate only one copy of MacHider with one activation number. In order to deactivate your copy of MacHider and activate it on another one, uninstall MacHider on your current Mac and install it on another Mac. Then activate it with your original Activation Number.
In case your file became corrupted or disappeared please refer to our article “How to recover lost files” in our Knowledge Base.
MacHider was developed to make files unavailable for other users, even if they’ll try to use third-party apps to find those files. That means that after hiding files by MacHider other apps won’t be able to access and modify them. You should make files visible if you need to work with them using other apps.
The only way to reset your forgotten MacHider password is to contact us via support@macpaw.com or call us at 1 (8775) MACPAW at any time.
