I have most apps and datas on an non-default location (extern usb-HD), CMM doesn't find them. It would be nice to add custom search folders.

I can only suggest installing OS on all external drives and starting up from them each time. How tedious!

I use my external drive as Time Machine. Still I use a portion of it for Manual Backup.
And yes, please provide drive selection for cleaning up (as the external drive does not have trash folder) !

I join with many others in asking that CleanMyMac provide an option to select external drives.
I note that this request has been made at least far back as February 2910.
