I would really like to have CleanMyMac do a defrag and compact so I can throw away an inferior product that does this without the elegance of CMM.

i totally need to defrag my hard disk to have the ability to use BOOT CAMP, but the problem is that when i try to use (Drive.Genius) it tells me that i have to have another hard disk bcuz (Drive.Genius) can't do defrag on the same hard disk that am running my Mac OSX from. so it would be great to do a defrag to my hard disk just like Windows from the same hard drive that am running my Mac OSX from. this should be a great new feature.

Mac OS X does not need defragmentation

if you connect your iDevice to a pc and try to defrag it, you'll see that all the files are already placed in the same place. The same goes for mac. All the files are automatically placed in a way that doesn't need any defrag;)
