How do I add more languages to the Preferences of CleanMyMac?
The list of Languages in CleanMyMac Preferences is taken from the System Preferences of Mac OS. Just go to the language preferences of your Mac and add the required languages there. They will appear in CleanMyMac as well and you can set these languages to be kept by the app.

What is the Permanent Serial Number?
The permanent serial number is the key you can use to activate CMM, or MacHider, in the future. In case that you reinstall the application you will use the Permanent Serial Number.
This number is generated to one user, so in case that you change your user name - you will have to contact our customer support to receive a new key.

I reinstalled CleanMyMac and now the activation code won't work. What should I do?
After your first installation you shoul've received an e-mail with your offline activation code. Use this code to activate the application anytime you need.
Keep in mind that this key is related to your short user name - and if you changed your short user name, the key won't work. In this case please contact Customer Support to receive a new key.
After scanning with CleanMyMac one of my applications stopped working. What now?
This problem is very rare, but it might happen. In this case please reinstall the application you had
problems with, and add it to the ignore list under Universal Binaries. If you want to exclude an application from the scan and cleaning process just add it to the Ignore List.
Click on "Ignore List" and use the + or - to add or remove the application.
You can also drag and drop the application into the "Ignore List" Button.

Can you explain what does CleanMyMac cleans?
CleanMyMac will clean only those files that are stored on your system, but you don't really need them.
In example logs from previous system activities, localizations, leftovers from uninstalled applications and so on.
