We are looking for one more people-oriented and well-organized member to join our HR team. You will be managing the Compensations & Benefits stream - responsible for its structure maintenance, improvement, and implementation at MacPaw, as well as help employees with their personal development plans.

We are a cross-functional team, and we want you to see the bigger picture of how the HR processes work in our company. This way all of us can implement different ideas and help colleagues in other areas (recruiting, education, policies, collaborative projects with Employer Branding team, etc.) This means that you can engage your teammates in the Performance stream activities as well/

A bit more about the team:

  • There are 9 of us - Chief Organizational Development Officer (CODO), HR Operations, HR Performance, 2 HR Administrative, Recruiting Team Lead, 3 Recruiters and we are hiring more people to
  • We use Kanban - we have a board with tasks, daily standup, retros, and brainstorms
  • We help and support each other, always

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and administrate the company grading system
  • Develop and oversee the options distribution process and policies
  • Participate in the performance review process development
  • Maintain a balanced payroll approach, if necessary, optimize the existing process 
  • Oversee and analyze company payroll change
  • Develop systematic benefits and bonuses process 
  • Develop long-term incentive programs for employees (including options program)

You will:

  • Be responsible for the Comp&Ben stream development and performance
  • Ensure the operation of the remuneration and incentive system in accordance with the company's development strategy
  • Maintain the following criteria for your projects: transparency of the system, fairness, competitiveness of the incentive system on the IT market, linking remuneration to employee performance

Your skillset likely includes:

  • Experience in building and/or developing reward systems
  • Experience with grading system development
  • Systemic thinking
  • Process-oriented, analytical and logical mindset
  • Fast learner
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Must be a proven communicator (written and in a live presentation), to be able to explain and decisions and new processes
  • Previous experience with options is a plus.

A: That’s a very predictable answer, but… people🙂 Most of my work consists of communication with colleagues inside MacPaw and candidates who come to us. I should admit most of them are very nice and interesting people who I am happy to work with. And it’s very exciting to be the first person in the company whom the future MacPawian meets.
