Design, research, and experiment to help a product grow. We’ll try out your ideas in the real world. Join our tribe!
Aren’t there too many design positions, we hear you ask? Marketing design is much more risky and exciting as your ideas will be immediately launched into the world. It’s a world where knowing Sketch matters just as much as your understanding of psychology. We’ll be crafting landing pages, emails, and all those things that trigger people to click.
It’s good if you have at least cursory experience with designing websites and banners. Basic knowledge of Sketch and Figma is required to apply.
We are glad you want to join our design team, just can’t wait to share our knowledge and experience with you!
Here is your test task:
You know, nothing at MacPaw is someone else’s problem — the mindset with common values is a key to outstanding products creation. We care not only about business goals, but also about people around us, the city we live in and Earth for being our only home.
This year we have prepared for you two topics. You are to choose one problem and show us how you would share its possible solution. The main goal is to highlight the problem of the topic chosen and explain its importance to others. You can do anything you want: hold an interview, make a research, launch a challenge, etc. Do your best to demonstrate the most creative part of yourself.
The topics are the following:
1. Waste sorting and recycling. What is wrong with landfills in Ukraine and why should we pay more attention to this topic?
2. Development of digital literacy. 50% of Ukrainian population have below average computer skills, and 15% do not have them at all. How to improve the situation and why is it important in the modern world?
Choose the topic and design:
1. A banner for Facebook:
- Image ratio 1:1
- PNG file
2. A landing page:
- Desktop version only
- At least 4 scrolls lengths
- PNG file
Finally we want to know your answer to the following question:
- What do you love the most about being a designer?
Best of luck!
