We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI-driven products. 

As a member of our UX Center, you will conduct in-depth research to understand user needs, behaviors, and emotions. Your expertise in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, and visual perception will contribute in creating innovative and engaging user experiences.

N.B. This role is dedicated solely to understanding user needs and behaviors – not creating visuals or designing wireframes If you’re passionate about diving deep into UX research, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will:
  • Constantly analyse entire end-user-product interaction in terms of UX aspects. Monitor its success in achieving product goals, and identify signals and metrics necessary to help products meet and exceed user expectations
  • Design, organize, and execute various UX research (interviews, product usability testing, internal evaluations, other user surveys, etc.), gather internal/external teams (designers, researchers, analysts, interviewers, etc.) to validate design solutions, provide decision-makers with well understood and articulated customer problems on all development stages
  • Create and maintain updated UX research documentation, reports, and user flow maps
  • Analyse the overall MacPaw UX design practice and its consistency among products, identify needed changes, develop relevant solutions, and support internal teams while implementing unified UX practice on a unit level and improving product design processes. Provide consultations and help resolve issues to ensure consistency in UX
  • Implement UX strategic projects: create and evaluate project plans, identify critical paths and resources required, coordinate team if needed, and oversee implementation and progress to ensure effective project delivery according to UX strategy and overall units and company goals

Skills you’ll need to bring:
  • 3+ years of work experience in UX research
  • 1+ year of work experience in product design
  • Strong understanding of human-computer interaction, behavioral research, and visual & emotional perception
  • Knowledge in conversational design and experience with AI-related products
  • Proficiency in various research methodologies and tools (from conducting to delivering insights) 
  • Ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
  • Experience in creating UX documentation
  • Knowledge of UX Metrics
  • Advanced English 
  • Knowing Human Interface Guidelines 
  • Experience in the fast creation of clickable prototypes based on static mock-ups 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactivity, self-organization, innovation
  • UX Advocacy
  • Fluent Ukrainian

As a plus:
  • A good portfolio of past designs that demonstrates your past product design experience 
  • Experience with eye-tracking, EEG, and other advanced research techniques
  • Knowledge in cognitive psychology
  • Experience in organizing workshops, facilitating brainstorms
  • Passion for exploring and applying innovative technologies
