So in your day-to day tasks will be a huge variety of interesting tasks, from architectural decisions in logic to SwiftUI beauty. It is important that a significant part of the code will be written in Swift, but there will also be quite a lot of Objective-c development.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement technical and architectural solutions 
  • Research and implement technical solutions to improve product performance
  • Work with DB and API-related tasks
  • Work on improving the speed and quality of malware detection, adding new virus search algorithms
  • Communicate with the team and PM to clarify implementation details, edge cases, specify input or missing data and possible use-cases/flows
  • Decompose and estimate validated technical solutions for business problems/ideas/needs into technical tasks
  • Suggest architectural solutions and/or development tools to implement a technical task
  • Implement technical solutions to cover all acceptance criteria and other team agreements (e.g tech documentation, tests, etc)
  • React on issues and failures by investigating and fixing them according to project tasks priorities
  • Suggest technical solutions for increasing product/service stability and performance if needed

Skills you’ll need to bring:

  • 4+ years of macOS/iOS development experience
  • Strong Swift / Objective-C experience
  • Strong knowledge of memory management
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency (fundamentals, common problems)
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining complex project structure
  • SQLite databases experience and wrappers (GRDB / FMDatabase / etc.)
  • Intermediate English

As a Plus:

  • Desktop application development experience: XPC (IPC), AppKit
  • Experience in writing technical documentation
  • Knowledge of basic cyber security principles
  • Reverse engineering experience
