Configure app settings

To review and adjust settings in the CleanMyMac Business desktop app, follow these steps:

  1. Click the app icon in the menu bar.

  2. Depending on whether you're signed in to your account, do one of the following:

    The app window opens—in the upper-right corner, click the gear icon ( Gear icon ) and choose Settings.


    The app settings open.

  3. In the app settings, you can:

    • Show your Mac computer's health percentage in the menu bar.

    • Turn on app analytics, allowing CleanMyMac Business to collect data as described in the Privacy Policy.

      All data collection complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and you can turn off product analysis at any time.

    • Check and grant Full Disk Access.

    • Remove the app completely from your Mac.

    • View your account email address.

    • Sign out of your account—that is, end your active session.

    • Manage ignored items.

    Note

    If you're signed out, the available settings are limited to analytics, Full Disk Access, and app removal.
