Refund Policy
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Software developed by MacPaw may be available on a try-before-you-buy basis. There are free Demo versions you can download to fully experience the product prior to making your purchase. When available, documentation for software is also accessible online. We encourage you to review the documentation and try the software prior to making your purchase to ensure that it meets your requirements.
MacPaw reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
REFUNDS FOR PURCHASES MADE VIA OUR WEBSITE
If you are not satisfied with software purchased through our website, please contact our Customer Support Team (either by email or by phone) to request a refund.
We will issue a refund subject to the following terms:
- For customers who subscribed to our products with billing intervals of one month or less on or after 23 November 2024, refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the initial purchase.
- For all other customers, refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the initial purchase.
- Refunds will not be granted after the applicable refund window unless the transaction was subject to a fraudulent purchase.
- Refunds are only available for the initial subscription purchase and do not apply to payments resulting from the automatic renewal of the subscription.
- MacPaw may decline refund claims in the following cases:
- Software was purchased for the wrong platform (e.g., Windows instead of macOS).
- Purchases of hard copies or shipping charges.
- Inability to operate the software in your computing environment.
- Inability to use the software due to an operator error;
- Suspected refund abuse, license misuse, or fraudulent activity, including excessive refund requests from a single user or attempts to retain and use the product after a refund has been processed.
- We will not refund or credit the difference between the price you were charged and the limited-time price reduction, such as those that occur during special sales events.
- Please note that coupon details must be filled in before proceeding to the order check-out. We will not apply discounts in retrospect, i.e. to orders that have already been processed.
- If a refund is approved, it should appear on your credit card statement within 7 to 10 business days.
- Upon receipt of a refund, you must cease all use and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Software for which you no longer possess a valid, purchased license. MacPaw reserves the right to disable any product keys and/or serial numbers issued to you for the refunded products.
REFUNDS FOR PURCHASES MADE OUTSIDE OF OUR WEBSITE
If you purchased our software through a third-party reseller (e.g., Apple App Store, Amazon.com), you must contact the reseller directly to request a refund. Their policies govern these transactions.
Apple App Store:
If you purchased your subscription via the Apple App Store, your transaction is governed by Apple’s refund policy. The Company is unable to issue refunds for payments processed through Apple. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support directly.
Authorized Resellers and Retailers:
If you purchased our software through a third-party retailer, reseller, or online marketplace, please note that the refund and return policies of the respective seller apply. MacPaw is unable to process refunds for these purchases. Contact the seller directly to request assistance.
If your refund request is declined by the third-party seller for any reason, MacPaw cannot issue a refund on their behalf.
