Explore and manage devices
(Updated: )As the Owner or an Admin, you can view and manage the Mac computers enrolled in your Organization and explore details for each individual device.
To view all devices enrolled in your Organization, sign in to your Owner or Admin account in the Admin Dashboard, then go to Devices.
Here, you can:
See basic info about each device
By default, this includes the device name, model, year of manufacture, macOS version, and Mac Health score.
You can also select additional details to show, such as the email address of the member the Mac is associated with, the last active date and time, total and free disk space, and the serial number of the device.
To choose which details to show or hide, click Customize on the upper right.
See issues the device has
Issues can include:
Storage: The device disk has issues.
CPU: The device processor requires attention.
Battery: The device battery requires attention.
Protection: There are issues with the device compliance.
Malware: The desktop app detected malware on the device.
CMM Update: There's an update for the desktop app that isn't installed yet.
FDA Pending: The member hasn't provided full disk access to the desktop app.
Unreachable: The desktop app installed on the device isn't communicating with the Admin Dashboard.
Search for devices
You can search for devices by name, model, year of manufacture, macOS version, serial number, and the email address of the member the device is associated with. For this, enter your search query (at least three characters) in the Search box.
Filter devices
You can filter devices by model, year of manufacture, macOS version, Mac Health score, or issue type. For this, click Manage Filters next to the Search box, then select and apply filters in the open dialog.
Sort devices
You can sort devices in the list in ascending or descending order by name, model, year of manufacture, macOS version, Mac Health score, email address of the member the device is associated with, the last active date and time, total storage size, free disk space, or serial number. For this, click the name of the respective columns.
To view details and manage a device, click the respective device entry.
