To edit the settings of an automation task—Smart Scan, Malware Scan, or Application Updates—configured within your CleanMyMac Business Organization:
Sign in to your Owner or Admin account in the Admin Dashboard, then go to Automation.
In a task widget, for example, in Smart Scan, click Edit.
The task settings dialog opens.
In the open dialog, change the task settings as needed:
Choose how often to run the task (Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly)
Select the types of system junk to clean
Choose how often to run the task (Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly)
Choose whether to scan PKG files and DMG disk image files
Choose the scan mode:
Balanced Scan: Offers a blend of speed and thoroughness. Scans a wide range of files and system locations, providing a balanced approach to security checkups.
Deep Scan: Conducts an exhaustive examination of your entire system, diving into every file and folder. Best used when maximum security assurance is needed or after a suspected malware activity.
Quick Scan: Scans the most vulnerable areas of your system for immediate threats. Ideal for regular checkups or if you’re simply short on time.
Choose how often to run the task (Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly)
Specify apps to ignore updates for (by name or bundle ID)
Click Apply to save changes.
Updated task settings will take effect after the current task cycle is complete.
