Apple announced the next version of macOS at WWDC this June. From the breakup of iTunes into three separate apps, second-screen support, new accessibility features to improved security, Macs are going to be enriched with a lot more cool things. Surely, we got our hands on the Developer Beta and started working on CleanMyMac X compatibility with Catalina.
It’s been a long and rocky road, but we’re happy to announce that CleanMyMac X Beta is already live, running like a champ on the new macOS!
If you want to use CleanMyMac on Catalina, make sure to allow Beta updates:
- Launch CleanMyMac X.
- In the menu go to Preferences > Updates.
- Check the box next to Offer to update to Beta versions.
- Click Check for Updates.
* Please note that Beta updates can be unstable and may result in data loss. Be cautious!
While you’re trying out the new macOS, we’ll continue fixing the minor glitches to make sure that CleanMyMac X is fully compatible with Catalina when Apple releases the official version this fall.
Well, time to get back to work. Stay tuned for more news and thanks for using CleanMyMac X!
P.S. Here’s us at WWDC 🙂 So excited to receive first-hand information!
