HiBob integration

What it does

Connecting HiBob allows Leebry to access your organization's employee directory information from HiBob, so it can be used to answer your colleagues' questions.

What admins can do

  • Connect HiBob
  • Reconnect HiBob

What you need to connect

In HiBob, create an API service user and copy its:

  • Client ID
  • Token

The linked document also explains how to assign permissions to the service account. Make sure to assign permissions depending on the information you'd like to be accessible to all employees. For instance, that could be the Default Employee Fields permissions.

How to connect

  1. Open Leebry webpage.

  2. Go to Integrations.

  3. Choose HiBob > Connect.

  4. Paste Client ID and Token.

  5. Click Continue and confirm it shows as Connected.

How to reconnect or delete

If you'd like to change the service account used for connecting HiBob:

  1. Go to the Integration tab in Leebry.

  2. Click the three vertical dots button next to HiBob and then Reconnect.

    If you'd like to delete the integration, click Delete instead.

Basic troubleshooting

  • Invalid credentials: re-copy Client ID/Token (avoid extra spaces).

  • Integration not working: delete and connect again.

  • If the issue persists: contact support and provide the approximate time and what you tried.
