We take data protection legislation seriously, so we're excited to announce that we're looking for a Senior Data Protection Professional to join our team. We're looking for someone up for a challenge, as this role requires staying up to date with the constantly changing regulatory landscape.
This critical role will help us enhance our management of potentially sensitive information and ensure we're meeting global privacy standards like GDPR, CCPA, and others.
Lead data protection risk assessments and drive remediation across the organization, offer compliance advice, and conduct monitoring activities
Own and continuously improve the company's data protection governance framework, including policies and standards
Drive data mapping initiatives across company assets and systems
Pilot and implement privacy automation tools to scale compliance efforts
Lead reporting on data protection risks and governance to senior stakeholders
Ensure all software products, services, and third-party tools meet data protection requirements in the US and EU/UK
Champion data protection awareness and deliver training across the company
Collaborate closely with legal, security, and product development teams
5+ years of experience in data protection, privacy law, or a related field — ideally within a software or tech company
Deep expertise in GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant privacy regulations
Hands-on experience building or significantly improving a privacy program
Strong technical literacy — you're comfortable discussing software architecture, APIs, and data flows
Excellent communication skills — you can translate complex legal requirements into actionable guidance for engineers and product managers
A proactive mindset — you spot issues before they become problems
English at B1 or above and strong communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent privacy certification
Experience with privacy management platforms (OneTrust, Osano, or similar)
