For This Role

We’re looking for a Middle Lawyer to join our Legal Team (Business Operations subdivision) and provide comprehensive legal support across our operations.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams. You will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance and protecting the company’s interests while supporting our internal and external operations.

In this role, you will:
  • Coordinate contract processes with vendors: create templates, approve legal conditions, and revise agreements with partners across the MacPaw group
  • Provide legal support in cases of third-party violations, including documentation preparation and coordination
  • Ensure legal compliance of MacPaw’s entities by participating in analytical reviews and ensuring transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide legal support and develop effective legal solutions to implement MacPaw’s partnership initiatives
  • Facilitate registration of intercompany legal relations to support financial flows and operational activities
  • Support the preparation of legal documents and contracts for MacPaw’s investment projects
  • Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for MacPaw teams on legal topics, keeping them informed about regulatory updates and compliance best practices
  • Prepare and coordinate agreements and documents for internal use, ensuring smooth cooperation with employees, contractors, and other parties
  • Provide legal support for MacPaw’s charity and non-profit projects and activities

Skills you’ll need to bring:
  • Strong legal expertise in commercial contract law, labor law, regulatory compliance, and cross-border legal awareness
  • Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation
  • Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities
  • Sharp problem-solving and communication skills
  • At least an upper-intermediate English & fluent Ukrainian

As a plus:
  • Experience with international law and U.S. legislation
  • Knowledge of mobilization legislation
  • Familiarity with nonprofit law
  • Experience as an in-house lawyer
