Job Description Icon

We’re looking for a Middle Marketing Designer to join the team behind Setapp, MacPaw’s curated platform that provides access to a premium ecosystem of vetted tools for macOS, iOS, and the web.

Setapp is currently evolving from its subscription model into a comprehensive software marketplace, expanding how users discover and license individual apps.

As a Marketing Designer, you will take ownership of the visual communication across various channels for Setapp. You’ll define, test, and coordinate visual styles for marketing campaigns, social media communications, presentations, and digital ads.

If you’re excited to drive the evolution of a globally recognized platform and scale its marketplace ecosystem in an AI-first environment, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you will:

  • Craft engaging visual assets for daily communications and major marketing campaigns across social media, web pages, and digital advertisements.

  • Create unique 2D illustrations following our established internal style guide to support landing pages, in-app articles, and promotional materials.

  • Develop distinct sub-identities and visual themes for specific marketing campaigns tailored to various target audiences.

  • Integrate advanced AI tools (such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, and GPT models) into your daily design workflow to generate visual assets for communications and optimize processes.

  • Collaborate directly with cross-functional teammates, channel owners, and stakeholders, including influencer managers, content leads, and social media managers.

  • Present and defend your design decisions clearly to the team and stakeholders.

Skills you’ll need to bring:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Marketing or Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse marketing assets and digital designs.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma as the primary tool for conceptualization, design, and execution.

  • Solid experience in creating high-quality 2D illustrations and adapting to an established brand style guide.

  • Active interest or hands-on experience in using AI design tools and a strong willingness to explore new AI-driven workflows.

  • Ability to manage design tasks independently from initial brief to final delivery, including asking proactive clarifying questions when requirements are fluid.

  • High level of English proficiency (Advanced) to communicate effectively with the team.

  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience working within a product company or building a long-term brand identity.

  • Agency background with strong expertise in developing diverse creative campaign concepts.

  • Basic or intermediate motion design and animation skills.

  • Familiarity with 3D design or 3D illustration tools.

  • Landing page creation skills (Framer, Webflow).

Please note: It is essential to include a link to your portfolio with your application, as a portfolio review is the very first stage of our screening process.
