At MacPaw, we craft software that makes everyday tech life simpler, cleaner, and more enjoyable. From globally loved products like CleanMyMac and Setapp to emerging cybersecurity tools like ClearVPN and Moonlock, we are building a product ecosystem that reaches millions of people worldwide.
We believe humans and technology can reach their greatest potential together. By fusing high engineering standards, thoughtful design, and practical AI, we rethink how people interact with their devices and shape the daily tech routines of the future.
Working at MacPaw means owning outcomes, not just tasks. We build for global scale from day one, giving you the trust, freedom, and room to experiment.
In our team, we challenge ideas directly, support each other genuinely, and build software that makes a meaningful difference — both in the tech world and beyond.
We are looking for a Strong Middle Product Manager (Buyer Stream) to join the team behind Setapp — MacPaw’s curated platform that provides access to a premium ecosystem of vetted tools for macOS, iOS, and the web.
In this role, your primary focus won't be tweaking traditional acquisition funnels or UI buttons, as our Marketplace team has that covered. Instead, you will build core Setapp capabilities that enable ecosystem products to seamlessly recommend, license, and deliver software to users.
Own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Buyer Stream within Setapp.
Design and scale the logic behind personalized app recommendations to deliver the right software suggestion at the right time.
Define and deliver technical endpoints and capabilities that allow internal sellers to trigger context-aware app recommendations directly within their interfaces.
Manage post-purchase capabilities, including license entitlement, device management, balance tracking, and core user account features.
Work closely with Data, Engineering, and adjacent Product domains to structure event pipelines and user metadata.
Conduct user research, qualitative analysis, and data deep-dives to uncover friction points in recommendation acceptance and license activation.
Prioritize the backlog, write user stories, and facilitate smooth execution with cross-functional engineering teams.
4+ years of product management experience with Platform, Technical, or Data-heavy SaaS products.
Familiarity with Recommendation Systems and an understanding of how data-driven rules deliver personalized user experiences.
Strong Data Literacy and hands-on comfort with structured or raw data, user event pipelines, and complex metrics.
Practical understanding of Entitlement, subscription lifecycle, billing logic, or token/credit consumption.
Experience driving cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Data, and business stakeholders.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear product requirements.
At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English and fluent Ukrainian.
Experience with macOS or desktop applications.
Experience with marketplace or catalog products.
Technical or Data background (e.g., Software Engineering, System Analysis, or Data Analytics).
Steps may differ depending on the position, but this is our usual hiring process.
