Test results

When testing your internet connection speed, CleanMy®Phone shows the following information:

  • Download speed and ping – the values change dynamically as the test progresses.

    To check this properly, the app downloads a small test file during the test.

  • Upload speed and ping – the values change dynamically as the test progresses.

  • Network name – name of the network your device is connected to.

    Shown if your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network and you gave the app permission to access your location.

  • Connection type – type of your network connection: Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, 3G, or EDGE.

  • Security – security method used in your network: Personal, Open, WEP, or Enterprise.

    Shown if your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

  • Server – country where the closest test server is located.

  • Provider – name of your internet service provider.

  • Address – external (public) IP address of your device.

After CleanMy®Phone successfully completes testing, it shows the above information and also includes the test results:

  • Download speed and ping – final average values.

  • Upload speed and ping – final average values.

  • Online activities – activities your internet connection is good for:

    • Online gaming, browsing – download speed is 24 Mbit/s or more.

    • Video calls, movie streaming – download speed is 12 Mbit/s or more.

    • Audio calls, music streaming – download speed is 2.56 Mbit/s or more.

    • Messaging, chatting – download speed is 0.4 Mbit/s or more.

Network test results

If your device doesn't have internet access or loses it during the test, the app will show a screen informing that there's no internet connection.
