Configure Smart Scan automation
(Updated: )CleanMyMac Business lets you configure the Smart Scan automation task to run regular scans on devices enrolled in your Organization. This helps detect and clean various types of system junk, including:
- System log files
- Broken login items
- User cache files
- Language files
- Broken preferences
- Xcode junk
- Mail attachments
- Trash bins
To configure the Smart Scan automation task:
Sign in to your Owner or Admin account in the Admin Dashboard, then go to Automation.
In the Smart Scan widget, click Add automation.
The task settings dialog opens.
In the task settings, configure the following:
Choose how often to run the task (Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly)
Select the types of system junk to clean
Click Apply to create the task.
The task will be created with your selected settings and will appear in the respective widget.
