CleanMyMac 3 continues to work on Mac operating systems 10.9–10.13, that is, from Mavericks to High Sierra, but there won't be any updates for the app.

All purchased licenses remain effective.

Our Support Team continues to answer requests from CleanMyMac 3 users.
Only customers who have already purchased a license can activate CleanMyMac 3 and access all of its features. If possible, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of CleanMyMac.

Stability and security risks on old systems
Apple doesn't support its older operating systems. Without updates, these systems are vulnerable to stability and security risks. It's impossible to address all those numerous risks. As a result, we can't guarantee that CleanMyMac 3 always stays stable and safe.

Technical limitations
Some essential features in the latest versions of CleanMyMac rely on the technologies unavailable in older Mac operating systems. This doesn’t let us add these features to CleanMyMac 3, which is designed for older systems only.
With such risks and limitations, we can't make sure that our users, who we care about so much, get the best experience and quality that have always been our priorities. So, if possible, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of CleanMyMac.

By ceasing to issue updates and fixes for CleanMyMac 3, we can concentrate on making better and more useful products for you. These products are the latest version of CleanMyMac, and other popular apps: Setapp, ClearVPN, CleanMy®Phone, and Gemini 2.

MacPaw no longer develops any new features, compatibility patches, bug fixes, or improvements for CleanMyMac 3. We may still release occasional updates to fix critical problems related to the functionality or security of the app. Nevertheless, these releases won't be regular.
