Review battery-intensive apps
(Updated: )Battery-intensive apps are those that consume more battery power than other apps. CleanMyMac helps you identify these apps and close them when they're no longer needed to free up system resources.
To view the apps currently using the most battery:
Open the CleanMyMac Menu and click Battery.
The Top Consumers list shows the apps currently using the most battery, ranked from highest to lowest. Each app's position is based on its power impact — a score calculated from CPU usage and how often the app wakes the processor from an idle state.
To close an app and free up system resources, click Quit next to its name.
The list updates every second. When you hold the pointer over the list, updates pause, making it easier to close apps.
