Check and free up memory
(Updated: )The CleanMyMac Menu lets you quickly check the amount of free RAM and free up additional memory if needed. To do this:
Open the CleanMyMac Menu and view the Memory monitor.
To quickly release more memory, click Free Up (or Optimize in the App Store version of CleanMyMac) in the monitor.
CleanMyMac will free up as much RAM as possible and safe at the moment.
To release even more RAM, close the apps that consume the most memory. You can also free up RAM along with other maintenance tasks.
