Clean up the Trash
(Updated: )To quickly empty the main Trash on your Mac, follow these steps:
In the CleanMyMac Menu, click the disk monitor.
In the Trash monitor, click Free Up.
Trash cleanup notifications
Deleted files can gradually take up a significant amount of disk space. CleanMyMac can remind you to empty the Trash before it becomes too large.
To set a Trash size threshold for notifications:
In CleanMyMac Settings, go to the Notifications tab.
Find the "Notify if Trash size exceeds" option and set the threshold you prefer.
Once the Trash reaches the specified size, CleanMyMac will remind you to clean it up.
