For Organization Owners

(Updated: )

When you sign up to CleanMyMac Business and create an Organization, you automatically receive the Owner role. This role is non-editable, meaning there can only be one permanent Owner in the Organization.

To start using CleanMyMac Business as the Owner of an Organization:

  1. Sign up for CleanMyMac Business.

After signing up, a free 14-day trial period begins, allowing you to enjoy all the features and benefits of CleanMyMac Business. However, you are limited to 30 device licenses to assign and distribute to users during this trial.

  2. Invite users to your Organization.

When inviting users, you can assign one of two roles to them:

    • Admin: Admins have almost the same permissions and access as the Owner, except for managing subscription and payment details. You can assign as many Admins as needed, and instruct them to get started and help with user and device management.

    • Member: Members have more limited access and permissions within the Organization. You can assign as many Members as needed, and they can get started with CleanMyMac Business.

You can also assign device licenses to users based on how many devices each user needs to enroll in your Organization (licenses can also be assigned later).

  3. If needed, enroll your Mac in your Organization for monitoring:

    1. Assign a device license to your account.

    2. Download and install the CleanMyMac Business desktop app.

    3. In the desktop app, sign in to your Owner account.

That's it! You've successfully created your CleanMyMac Business Organization and invited users.

Once you decide that CleanMyMac Business is the right fit for you, you can add your payment information, purchase the required number of licenses, and continue maintaining your Mac fleet.

Note

If you add payment details and purchase licenses during the trial period, the trial automatically ends, and your billing period starts.

As the Owner, you have full access and permissions within your Organization.
