Turn the Menu on or off

To turn the CleanMyMac Menu on or off:

1. Make sure CleanMyMac background items are allowed.

2. In CleanMyMac Settings, go to the Menu tab.

3. Depending on the edition of CleanMyMac you use, do the following:

   MacPaw Store or SetappApp Store

   Turn the Enable Menu option on or off:

   • When it's on, the Menu starts when you log in to macOS, appears in the menu bar, and keeps running even if you quit CleanMyMac.

   • When it's off, the Menu doesn't start when you log in to macOS, doesn't appear in the menu bar, and doesn't start even when you open CleanMyMac.

   

   Turn the "Open at Login" option on or off:

   • Turning on means the Menu starts when you log in to macOS and keeps running even if you quit CleanMyMac.

   • Turning off means the Menu doesn't start when you log in to macOS. It starts only when you open CleanMyMac and runs until you quit the app.

     Important

     If you turn the Menu off, Health Monitor runs only while CleanMyMac is open. This affects features that rely on it in background, such as Browser Care.
