Product Manager for CleanMyMac

Now we’re looking for a great Product Manager to join our CleanMyMac team.

CMM has been recognized through numerous awards and reviews as one of the best Mac cleaning apps on the market. And it’s important for us to meet our customers' needs (actually, we try to exceed expectations :)).
So, we believe that there is always something to improve, even the sky isn’t the limit!

From a product management perspective: it's as complex as amazingly exciting and challenging. Combining multiple versions, markets, a variety of data sources, hypothesis and a 9-year history, CleanMyMac requires great scrupulosity both on short-term and long-term goals and perspectives.
At the same time, thanks to MacPaw culture, the development of CleanMyMac is flexible and allows product manager to be bold and creative in his ideas.

Below we described the key points our Product Manager needs to have and demonstrate in day-to-day life

- Love your product and your customer
- Know the market and marketing: where your product lives, who uses it, how and why
- Love product analysis and data. Validate hypothesis, bold ideas, and be a decision maker
- Live with lean software development methodology
- Give a little extra love to Product Documentation
- Be a starter, implementer, and finisher

In general: you’ll drive product through its positioning, vision, and mission. You should be an expert in the product's competition.

  • Researching, researching and researching the market, the customer and the problem they have that you’re trying to solve
  • Building an actionable plan to reach the vision. Own the product strategy and product roadmap
  • Working closely with marketing on product pricing, positioning strategies, and go-to-market plan
  • Owning the product's performance KPI's, including financial indicators
  • Capturing the customer requirements as user stories and explaining why they are important to the team
  • Leading requirements gathering efforts as needed – consulting stakeholders, marketing, clients, etc.
  • Being an evangelist for the product
  • 3+ years experience of Product Management of software products (preferably)
  • 1+ years experience in a role of SCRUM Product Owner
  • Be an advanced user of macOS and understand and love Apple products
  • Have short- and long-term planning skills
  • Have UX expertise
  • Have a strong marketing knowledge and be really data driven
  • Have good negotiations skills. Advanced English level (it's all for conducting negotiations, arranging partnerships)
  • Be tech-savvy (we don't expect you to code but you should understand the technology stack and the level of effort involved)
  • Be initially ready for release-mode madness
Thank you! Your resume has been submitted. It will be carefully reviewed and we will contact you should your skills and experience match the requirements. Good luck!
