One-time purchase or subscription plan

CleanMyMac offers several pricing plans, including both one-time purchases and subscriptions. With multiple options available, you might wonder which is best for you—a one-time purchase, a subscription from the MacPaw Store or the App Store, or a Setapp subscription. Below are key details about each option to help you decide.

One-time purchase of CleanMyMac is available at both the MacPaw Store and the App Store. If you make purchase from the MacPaw Store, this also gives you the opportunity to get other MacPaw products at a 30% discount.

With a one-time purchase, you pay once and receive a CleanMyMac plan without an expiration date. You can use CleanMyMac as long as it's compatible with your Mac and macOS version. However, a one-time purchase includes only updates and fixes for your current major version of CleanMyMac. For example, a one-time purchase license of CleanMyMac X doesn't include an upgrade to the latest CleanMyMac. If you wish to upgrade to a new major version in the future, you can do so at a special price.

You can get either an annual or monthly CleanMyMac subscription. The annual subscription is available at both the MacPaw Store and the App Store, while the monthly subscription is available only at the MacPaw Store.

Regardless of the marketplace, your subscription includes both updates to the current major version and upgrades to future major versions of CleanMyMac. Additionally, if you choose the MacPaw Store, you can enjoy 30% off all other MacPaw products.

A Setapp subscription not only includes CleanMyMac but also gives you access to over 250 other apps from the Setapp collection. Both updates to the current major version and upgrades to future major versions of CleanMyMac are included at no extra cost.
