Explore Organization apps

When a Mac is enrolled in your Organization, that is, when a member installs the desktop app and signs in to their account, CleanMyMac Business automatically registers all installed apps and adds their details to the Admin Dashboard. If an app was already registered, its details and statistics (number of installations, devices where the app in installed, frequency of use, and the like) will be updated where necessary.

As the Owner or an Admin, you can track and monitor all apps installed on devices within your Organization. To do so, sign in to your account in the Admin Dashboard and go to Applications.

Here, you can:

• View basic app info

  By default, you can see the following:

  • App name (the Application Name column)

  • App bundle ID (the Bundle ID column)

  • Percentage of devices where the app is installed (the Using Latest Version column—hover over a value in the column to see the details)

  • App vendor or developer name (the Vendor/Developer column)

  • App security status (the Security Status column)

  You can also select additional details to view, such as:

  • Number of app installations (devices where the app is installed; the Number of Installations column)

  • Latest available app version (the Latest Available Version column)

  • Oldest installed app version (the Oldest Installed Version column)

  To choose which details to show or hide, click Customize on the upper right.

  

• Search for apps

  You can search for apps by name and bundle ID. For this, enter at least three characters in the Search box.

  

To view more details and manage an app, click the respective app entry.

Here, you can:

• See basic app information (name, latest version, bundle ID, vendor or developer, and summary)

• Explore devices where the app is installed

• Check and update the app security status
