CleanMyMac Updater is a background process that periodically checks for available updates. By default, it wakes up approximately every six hours to check whether a newer version of CleanMyMac has been released.
If an update is available, the Updater downloads it automatically in the background. If no updates are found, the process exits until the next scheduled check.
The Updater is designed to work silently in the background and uses minimal system resources during update checks and downloads.
