My Tools

(Updated: )

CleanMyMac tools are organized into modules — for example, App Uninstaller and App Updater in Applications, or Malware Finder and Privacy Items in Protection, and so on. This works well for full and thorough cleanup, but sometimes you only need a single tool for a specific task. For example, to use App Uninstaller, you first open the Applications module and run a scan before you can uninstall an app.

My Tools removes those extra steps by bringing your most-used tools together in one place for quick and convenient access. Browse or search for a tool, then use it right away.

Favorite tools

To access your most-used tools even faster, you can mark them as favorites. Favorite tools appear in a dedicated section that's shown first in My Tools.

To add a tool to Favorites, find the tool you need and click the star icon in the top-right corner of its tile.

Once added, the tool appears in the Favorites section, while everything else goes into Other Tools.

If you no longer need a tool in your Favorites, click the star icon in the top-right corner of its tile — the tool will move back to the Other Tools section.
