MacPaw issues redeem codes as a way to purchase products. A code looks like this: AB01-CDEF-G234-H5IJ.
How do I get a code? You may run into a special offer from one of our Reselling Partners. When you make a purchase, the Reseller provides you with a redeem code. To use all CleanMyMac X features, you’ll need to exchange the code for a product plan.
Exchange a redeem code for a CleanMyMac X subscription
To redeem a code for a product plan, follow these steps:
- Go to https://macpaw.com/redeem, enter your redeem code, and
click Next.
Alternatively, you may enter your code right in the app:
i. Open CleanMyMac X and click Unlock Full Version.
ii. Click Activate Now, then enter your redeem code and click Next.
iii. Click Exchange Code. - Create your MacPaw account: simply enter your email and password when requested. If you already have an
account, sign in.
- Click Go To Account, then click Launch App* to open CleanMyMac X.
- Sign in to CleanMyMac X on your computer. Use the email and password from your MacPaw account (the one you've created in Step 2).
Congratulations! 🎉 You've just started your subscription and activated your copy of CleanMyMac X.

* If you don't have CleanMyMac X on your Mac yet, download it (or click Download in your online account). After installation, do the following:
- Open CleanMyMac X and click Unlock Full Version.
- Click Activate Now, then sign in using the email and password from your MacPaw Account.
That's it, your CleanMyMac X has been activated.
