My first Mac was a now-classic iMac in a blue casing. I couldn’t believe, at first, that an entire computer could exist in one piece. Since that summer day in 2005, I’ve been hooked on Apple’s design — and the minimalist message behind it.
I write for the MacPaw blog the way I’d explain something to myself. I look for answers when things refuse to work and that iCloud error pops up for the tenth time. Sometimes, it’s just technology karma you have to endure. But with a bit of luck and a clear checklist, things usually get back on track.
I still believe in texts written by humans. At MacPaw, we help machines help you — but it’s us, the humans, who tweak the algorithms. Not the other way around. I hope we can preserve our randomness, our peculiarities, our campfire stories, and our poetry. By the way, everyone should read Pablo Neruda’s poems. He’s unmatched.
